Proactive tax planning and year-round support for business owners, the self-employed, and individuals who need tax advice beyond just a tax return — clear guidance, accurate filing, no jargon, no surprises.
I’m a CPA based in Charleston, South Carolina, and for the past 13 years I’ve focused on one thing: taking the guesswork out of taxes through proactive planning and hands-on support for business owners and the self-employed.
Most of my clients are running a business or piecing together income from a handful of 1099s. Others are individuals facing a big financial decision that deserves real strategy. Either way, I offer more than a once-a-year filing — tax planning and advice are part of what I do, whether that’s a single strategy session or ongoing work throughout the year. I’d rather be the person you can call in June, not just April, so there are no surprises when it’s time to file.
I also work well alongside the rest of your financial team. If you already have a bookkeeper keeping your books or a wealth advisor managing your investments, I’m glad to coordinate directly with them rather than operate in a silo — my job is to make sure the tax side supports the bigger picture, whoever else is involved, so you actually reach your goals.
Most of my work falls into one of two buckets — find the one that fits, or reach out if you’re not sure.
A stock sale, a home purchase, an inheritance, or retirement on the horizon — the biggest tax outcomes are decided before you file. I work with individuals who want proactive planning and real strategy behind the numbers.
Freelancer, contractor, consultant, gig worker, small business owner — if you get a 1099 instead of a W-2, I’ll help you cut through tax complexity with clear planning and accurate, on-time filing.
No account managers, no hand-offs. When you call, you get the CPA who actually knows your file — whether you run a shop or just freelance on the side.
I explain what matters for your situation, not in tax code jargon. You’ll always know why — even if you’ve never thought of yourself as “running a business.”
I’d rather help you plan for a good outcome in June than clean one up in April.
